Hacienda Del Sol is pleased to provide you, referenced below as ‘You’, ‘Your Group’, and ‘the Client’, and members of your party, retreats and wellness activities at the Property on the terms and conditions set out in this document for your group retreat stay with us.

‘Exclusively-Yours’ Resort Buy-Out – Group Rates 2023

Below are the all inclusive prices per bungalow category and per person.

We have “4” in each bungalow category. The cost to rent all 12 bungalows is $10,000 per night for 7 nights; or $70,000. This does not include the 13% Costa Rican sales tax (High season rates from December 20 – April 30 start at $11,650 per night, minimum 7 nights; tax not included).

This is the minimum contract rate.

This rate includes up to 24 guests. You may choose how your guests are split into the following configurations

Bungalow Configurations

  • (4) Tierra Private Bungalow (king bed, or two single beds) – sleeps 2 per bungalow
  • (4) Pura Private Bungalow (king bed) – sleeps 2 per bungalow
  • (4) Cielo Private Bungalow (king bed) – sleeps 2 per bungalow

(*) Tierra – These bungalows have the smallest layout. They also have smaller desks and small, ensuite bathrooms with showers. Read more about Tierra

  • Exclusive use of Hacienda del Sol. You will not be sharing with anyone outside your party.
  • Up to 24 guests
  • 7-nights at our award winning Costa Rica Jungle Retreat
  • All Meals – All full-service meals are included in your package (three meals per day). You are invited to order anything you would like from our nutrient dense menus (vegetarian, raw vegan, or daily primal specials – which includes cooked foods, fresh fish, seafood and egg dishes). Or if you prefer to do a set meal plan for your group we can do that as well. These meals will be provided at predetermined times as decided between both parties. All meal options need to be decided by you 2-weeks prior to start of your Event/Retreat.
  • All freshly pressed juices, coconut water, and teas. These will be provided at predetermined times as decided between both parties. All beverage options need to be decided by you 2-weeks prior to start of your Event/Retreat.
  • Unlimited access to our hydrotherapy circuit which includes: saltwater pool area with custom-made sauna, cold plunge pool, and saltwater hot tub.


Our concierge team will work with you on any extra planning to elevate your group trip far beyond expectations, and can add-on to your quote the rates for any enhancements.

We can coordinate your transport to and from the airport, as well as additional wellness activities, such as: Sound Healing, Breath-work, additional Cooking Classes, Adventure Excursions, or the addition of any of our Wellness Packs.

If you would further like to customize your wellness stay, you are welcome to choose one of our customized wellness retreat programs that build on our core Yoga Rejuvenation Retreat for your entire group.

There is an extra charge associated with this per the price tables listed on each retreat (i.e. you would be charged the difference in price between the core Yoga Rejuvenation Retreat prices listed above and those listed in the rate tables of each customized retreat program page per person).

Choose your retreat


You will provide us with a deposit of 50% (the “Deposit”) of the final booking price (the “Final Booking Price”) as outlined in the booking contract in order to secure your trip reservation with Hacienda Del Sol (a “Trip Reservation”). The remaining 50% of the Final Booking Price is due 90 days before the anticipated start date (the “Start Date”).

  • 50% – due 90 days prior to the start date of your retreat

If your bank transfer payments are initiated past the dates agreed upon as outlined in the booking contract, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation without refund.


Any additions or customizations not factored into the initial quote must be communicated in writing to Hacienda del Sol 30 days or more prior to the start of your retreat. If it’s within 90 days of your retreat start date, payment for those enhancements will be due immediately.

Please note:

Our Exclusively Yours packages do not include: the cost of travel to and from Hacienda del Sol, spa treatments, additional wellness activities or gratuities.

The cost of the airport taxi/shuttle varies depending on the number of people per shuttle. We are happy to coordinate this transport for you and your group.

These are the negotiated fees received directly by the shuttle transport company.

  • Up to 4 people: $155 per shuttle
  • More than 5 people: $32 per person


All prices listed in this document are in US dollars. We accept USD payments for group booking only via direct deposits to our Bank of Costa Rica using the following information.

By making a Trip Reservation, you accept and agree to the cancellation and no-show policy of Hacienda Del Sol.

All payments are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the date the reservation was made. Due to the limited size of our retreat center and the nature of our retreat programs, we are unable to offer any refunds or credit notes whatsoever.

Your group must secure your own travel insurance.


If your group or a member of your group has to cancel for any reason including but not limited to COVID, personal emergency, including illness, family emergency, or flight cancelation; or, if you get sick on site, have a medical emergency, have an accident of any kind, have a death in the family, need to leave early for any personal reason, or are not able to attend your retreat for any reason apart from the ‘Force Majeure’ clause below, Hacienda del Sol is not able to offer any refunds or credits of any kind.

For this reason, your group must secure travel insurance to cover your possible cancellation or early departure due to any and all unforeseen circumstances or events. We highly recommend ‘cancel for any reason’ travel insurance. Due to the size of the Wellness Center, and the nature of the all inclusive programs, Hacienda del Sol cannot and will not be held responsible for refunding you.

Any of the travel insurance companies listed here should offer the coverage referenced above: Best travel insurance. Always do your research.

Note that many Travel Insurance companies require that your travel insurance is purchased within 15 days of Initial Trip Payment.


Hacienda del Sol shall not be liable for delays in performance of any obligation under this Trip Reservation that is caused by an act or occurrence beyond our control including but not limited to acts of God, global pandemics or regional epidemics, war, civil disturbance, or extreme local weather conditions (a “Force Majeure Event”) that prevents our ability to perform our contractual obligations. If a force majeure event occurs, the performance of our contractual obligations shall be excused for the period of delay resulting from the force majeure event.

If you are affected by a Force Majeure Event and our performance of obligations under this Trip Reservation is delayed, Hacienda Del Sol will use commercially reasonable efforts to reschedule your trip in a timely fashion and offer you a credit voucher to apply toward your future trip that will cover any difference between what your group’s travel insurance covers and the cost you have paid for your stay.

The cost of your future stay may be subject to payment differentials depending on our standard rates at the time of your reschedule.

We require you to submit your insurance policy to us before providing the credit voucher toward your future stay.


You agree that your group will be charged if any member of your group damages Hacienda del Sol property. This includes, but is not limited to, smoking in the bungalows, soiling linens, towels, pillows, or damaging furniture, curtains, etc.


We are not responsible for your group’s valuables, nor are we responsible for the valuables of any individual guest in your group. You, and your guests, are fully responsible for your valuables.


If you choose not to receive any part of the inclusions listed above, no part of the price of the rate is reduced or refundable.


Hacienda del Sol is pleased to offer your group or its members additional activities and excursions ‘a la carte’, but each member of your group is responsible for the additional cost of these activities.

Your group or its members is responsible for the full payment of any spa treatments or extra activities (tours, etc) booked that are canceled within 24 hours of the event.


Please note that with our continued focus on wellness innovation, our programs, services, daily activities schedule, and property are subject to changes and enhancements without prior notice. These updates will always be aligned with our signature wellness methodology and the integrity of our operations.


By making any form of payment to Hacienda Del Sol you agree that Hacienda del Sol is not a medical facility and we do not give medical advice.

All group participants are responsible to get clearance from their doctor before participating in any of our programs. Furthermore, Hacienda del Sol is 3-hours from the closest hospital and 45 minutes from the closest clinic, therefore participants with health conditions that require fast access to health care should take that into consideration before making a reservation.

While Hacienda del Sol is not responsible for contraindications and their effects from any medications or supplements you are taking before or during your stay with us, you or the individual members of your group are responsible for disclosing to your retreat facilitator any medications you are on. This information will be kept confidential.

In the event that you or a member of your group should require medical care or treatment, you authorize Hacienda del Sol to provide all emergency medical care deemed necessary, including but not limited to, first aid, CPR, the use of AEDs, emergency medical transport, and sharing of medical information with medical personnel.

You or your group member(s) further agree to assume all costs involved and agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment. You are aware and understand that you should carry your own health insurance.

You acknowledge you and each member of your group will be required to sign a Medical Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement in the written form upon arrival to Hacienda Del Sol.


Your booking indicates that you have read the FAQ page on our website and have communicated any essential information to the members of your group.


These Terms and Conditions and all written agreements with Hacienda del Sol shall be governed, construed and interpreted in accordance with the Laws of Costa Rica.
