Welcome to The Burnout Recovery Program, a curated add-on to our core rejuvenation retreat. This program is designed to help you recover from the physical and mental symptoms of burnout and reclaim your health with the expert guidance and support of your dedicated Primal Health Coach.
YOUR 7-NIGHT BURN-OUT RECOVERY PROGRAM INCLUDES:
Four 60-minute Primal Health Coaching Sessions - Leveraging our signature method, your Primal Health Coach will work with you to create a holistic plan that ensures you receive every element that your body needs to be fully restored to your optimal state of being - both during and after your stay. Unwind the habits that led to burn-out in the first place.
30-Minute Private Intake Session with Your Health Coach - Meet with your coach prior to your arrival so they can best customize your stay to meet your unique health goals.
Reintegration - You will be guided in implementing everything you've received during your stay with us back home for sustained and lasting change.
We curated this retreat program specifically to address the Western epidemic of chronic stress and its physical impact on the body.
In today’s world, as the body continuously diverts energy to the ‘fight, flight, or freeze’ responses, these stressors overwhelm our body’s homeostatic mechanisms leading to a physical condition called “burnout”.
Burn-out may manifest as any of the following health symptoms:
The confusion and overwhelm caused by these seemingly unrelated and uncontrollable symptoms may have you feel like your body is betraying you and that you don’t know where to turn. We invite you to reframe these symptoms as ‘messages’ from your body that are asking for your compassion and attention.
As the body receives an abundance of nourishment during your retreat, it receives the message from you that it’s safe to return to baseline. It will then begin to repair itself in the order it deems necessary, and the messages it’s been communicating via ‘symptoms’ will begin to quiet.
The Burn-Out Recovery program is designed to get you back in touch with this infinite intelligence of your body through Life Nutrition. Your coach will work with you to create a customized plan that invites you to become your own master authority.
This plan not only recalibrates you while you are with us in Costa Rica, but also integrates back home for sustainable change.

Through virtual health coaching, we will support you even after you leave Hacienda Del Sol, ensuring the health you gain here can become habits you will realistically do in your daily life.
PROGRAM FLEXIBILITY:
The Burn-Out Recovery Program is also flexible depending on your goals and the time you have to spend with us. It may be booked for multiple weeks and is recommended for up to three weeks to receive full benefit.
Here is a general guideline of the cumulative benefits you can expect by length of stay, though the phase order and duration of each guest will be unique based on their needs.
Between you and your coach, you can choose on your intake call which phases are appropriate for the duration of your stay.
One Week Stays – Phase I: Nourish. During this phase, you will be fully replenished. This is an essential first step and results in a deep and necessary system reboot – from your gut to your brain – with delicious whole foods, nurturing rest and sleep, targeted natural supplementation, and mindfully nutritious movement. This organically balances dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphin levels (what we call your daily ‘D.O.S.E.’) for enhanced mood, relationships, behaviors, and quality of life. This phase increases your nervous system capacity – its expanded ability to remain in the parasympathetic ‘rest and digest’ mode.
Two Week Stays – Phase II: Metabolic Rewire. During this next phase, you will also become fat-adapted for greater metabolic flexibility. Metabolic flexibility (the ability to move easily between carb-burning and fat-burning with ease) provides steady energy, less cravings, improved body composition, weight optimization, and mental and emotional stability. Because the body learns to feel safe that there will always be enough fuel, this supports nervous system flexibility – the ease with which you can move between necessary stress responses without getting stuck in overdrive or collapse.
This three-pillar triad of nervous system health – Capacity, Flexibility, and Resilience – are what allow your body to eliminate symptoms of burn-out and easefully respond to the stressors of modern day life when you return home.
The Burn-Out Recovery program is a $600 per person add-on for each 7-nights of your stay.
This is in addition to the core Rejuvenation Retreat all-inclusive pricing.

Please note before booking that Hacienda Del Sol is NOT a medical facility. We do NOT have medically trained staff, and we do NOT give medical advice. All participants are responsible to get clearance from their doctor before participating in any of our programs. Furthermore, Hacienda Del Sol is 3 hours from the closest hospital and 45 minutes from the closest clinic, therefore participants with health conditions that require fast access to health care should take that into consideration before making a reservation.
