SNORKELING

$100 per person + $20 transportation

With clear, calm water and a variety of marine life, the beaches at San Juanillo are among the best in the area for snorkeling. This adventure provides an opportunity to experience the tranquility of the ocean and the beauty of the underwater world. You’ll be accompanied by an experienced guide who will help you get equipped with all the necessary snorkeling gear, lead you through the experience, and provide you with refreshments afterwards.

 

HORSEBACK RIDING

$85 per person – transportation included

Ride along our stunning coastline and lush jungle trails, taking in the natural scenery and feeling the soothing ocean breeze. As Guanacaste is known for cattle ranching, a horseback ride is an excellent opportunity to experience our land as the locals have known it for generations. We recommend planning this adventure for the morning or sunset. No prior horseback riding experience is necessary.

 

ZIP LINE CANOPY TOUR

$75 per person + $100 transportation

Nosara is home to one of the world’s longest and most exhilarating canopy tours, set in the breathtaking Guanacaste forest. With 21 thrilling runs, stops at a waterfall and river pools, and stunning views of majestic mountain ridges, rivers, and the Pacific Ocean, this tour promises an unforgettable experience for any adventure lover. You can also take this opportunity to explore Nosara before you return.

 

ATV TOURS & RENTALS

$100 per person or $120 for 2 people sharing an ATV – transportation included

Our dirt roads and river crossings make ATVs the optimal mode of transportation for exploration and adventure. Choose from an array of guided tours, such as a trip to a waterfall where you can indulge in a tranquil swim in the refreshing water, or an excursion along the coastline to discover the various nearby beaches. Additionally, you have the option to rent an ATV and explore the area on your own.

 

SURF LESSONS

$85 per person + $50 transportation

Surfing requires physical strength, balance, and concentration, making it the perfect opportunity to practice mindful movement and enhance your mind-body connection. Mastering the waves can also instill a sense of accomplishment and boost your self-confidence as you conquer the challenges that come with it. Our area is abundant in experienced instructors who will expertly teach and mentor you in this demanding yet rewarding sport. Laugh, play, and learn why so many people fall in love with surfing.

 

STAND-UP PADDLE BOARD

$160 per person or $90 per person for groups of 3+ transportation included

Paddle boarding offers a low-impact full-body workout that improves balance and strength. Your experienced guide will lead you through the tranquil waters, pointing out local flora and fauna, and sharing their knowledge of the area’s rich ecosystem. You will feel a deeper connection to nature as you paddle through the serene landscape, surrounded by the lush greenery and sparkling waters. This activity provides an excellent opportunity to be active, unplug, and recharge in a peaceful environment.

BOAT ADVENTURE

$100 per person + $20 transportation

As you set sail on your adventure, you’ll be greeted by the sparkling blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. The tour’s knowledgeable guides will take you to some of the best spots for wildlife viewing, where you’ll have the chance to see dolphins, turtles, whales, stingrays, and more. One of the most thrilling parts of the tour is spotting pods of dolphins leaping out of the water and swimming alongside the boat. These intelligent and playful creatures often put on a show for visitors, spinning and jumping out of the water.

FISHING

$550 for 1/2 day + $20 transportation

Cast your line and reel in a variety of fish species found in the rich waters off the coast, such as marlin, tuna, and mahi-mahi. Along the way, take in the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding coastline, and perhaps even spot some dolphins or whales.
